He spun a tale about my Sky warranty nearing its expiration - which is quite peculiar since we’ve never even subscribed to one! It turns out these folks apparently obtained my number from Sky. Strangely enough, they don’t seem to have a functional website; all I found was a page directing me to the number 01293881807. When I called, a woman answered with a simple “hello.” At first, she insisted we must have misdialled, but when I tried again, a different person picked up and confirmed the company’s name.
