So this person rang me saying they were from BT and claimed there was an issue with my router that I wouldn’t even notice. They told me to get on to my laptop or tablet to sort it out. When I asked a few questions, they asked if I’m the account holder but didn’t seem to know my last name. I told them I suspected it was a scam and just hung up straight away. Afterwards, I made sure to block the number so they can’t ring again.
