Received a call from someone purporting to be from Medical Alert Services, insisting that I ought to acquire a medical alert device. They were prying into my medical history, but I fed them a story that was all nonsense. At first, they stated everything would be complimentary, but then, surprise surprise, they mentioned a fee of £189.00. The moment I detected the Indian accent, I was convinced it was a scam without a doubt!

Callers can still leave a voicemail but obviously scammers don’t bother with that. If you want to stop your phone from ringing all the time, getting a blocker like that is worth looking into.
