I received a call over the weekend from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, my internet service provider. The chap on the line insisted that there was an attempted breach on my computer. He asked me to power it up and type in some random letters. Thankfully, I decided to reach out to TalkTalk afterwards, and they confirmed it was all a fraudulent attempt. I've also reported it to the police, so do be vigilant!
