The message was all automated, telling me my credit card had been used multiple times and I supposedly owed over £2000. They told me to press 1 if I didn’t make those charges or something like that. It wasn’t clever at all, but I guess if even one person bites, it’s worth it for whoever’s behind this - probably some foreign scammer. My phone number is ex-directory, so hardly anyone has it, which makes me think they just dial numbers randomly. Plus, my bank or card company definitely wouldn’t ring me from a Crawley number since I live over 150 miles away from there!
