I got a call on 22nd Jan 2020 at about 3.43pm GMT from the number 01293 522 184, says it's from Crawley. The guy, sounded Asian, said he was calling from the Financial Ombudsman. He mentioned some sum, around £2,654, and asked for someone who doesn’t live here any more. Seems like a total scam to me. Watch out, don’t fall for it! That's all.

Got a call claiming to be from the financial ombudsman, wanted me to confirm a credit card charge, but the amount they mentioned didn't line up with anything I've spent recently. Ended the call pretty quick. The number looked like it was from somewhere near Crawley, if it’s legit at all.
