this bloke called saying he was from amazon, said he needed my info to cancel an iphone 11 order. problem is, i never ordered one. i told him straight up i knew he was a scammer. he didn’t give up easily, kept trying to convince me he was legit, but then got rude and started swearing, which definitely isn’t how amazon employees behave.

This bloke claimed he was from Amazon but wouldn’t let me call him back. He kept asking for my Amazon info, saying he wasn’t trying to scam me since he didn’t want my bank details. When I told him I knew it was a scam, he got proper rude and started swearing. There was zero security checks, and if it had been legit, it would’ve breached data protection. He said he was trying to cancel an iPhone I never bought, but they usually wouldn’t talk about that stuff without confirming your identity first.

They were calling claiming to be from Amazon, but it was a total scam. Be careful, don’t trust them!
