Totally telemarketers fishing for leads, claiming there's some sort of funding for home upgrades. I'm pretty certain no grants exist for the stuff they push. They mention everything from double glazing, conservatories, UPVC cladding, all kinds of doors, flat roofs, security systems and more. It's just a ploy to send a salesperson round and get their foot in the door. The woman just read off a script listing all their products, and every time she mentioned something I'd say I'd already got it done. Eventually she gave up. I checked their website and it basically backs up everything I've said.

A woman called on 9/02 claiming to be from something called Kingsbridge, asking for a Mrs W, who doesn’t live here. I didn’t confirm or deny, just asked what it was about. She said it was regarding some home improvement funding, but didn’t say from whom. I told her my landlord handles anything to do with the property, and she quickly hung up. Tried calling back but got a voicemail saying the mailbox is full. I do own the place, btw.

I received a rather bothersome call from a company talking about some sort of grant for Windows, reminiscent of Kingsbridge, if you know what I mean. I informed the caller that I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service and requested them to remove my number from their list. To her credit, she was quite courteous about it, but nonetheless, it was still an irritating sales call.

They were tryin to set up appointments to check if you needed new windows, but you cant seem to get through to them?? Weird situation.
