So this guy named Jack gave me a ring the other day. He claimed I was recommended by some third party for osteoarthritis. I told him it sounded like complete nonsense. Then he insisted if it wasn’t me, it must be someone else in my home. I called him out, saying he was just making things up on the spot. When I asked who this third party was, he said “Niagara medical” which I’d never heard of before. Then he asked if I wanted to be taken off their list. I said yes straight away... seemed like such a scam to me!

I didn’t pick up, it went straight to my voicemail. When I listened back, it was odd - silence at first, then some loud sniffing like they might’ve had a cold or something. After that, a deep, rough voice muttered “your loss” before hanging up. Sounds like the scammers were pretty bored today. Total waste of time!

No way I’m picking up that number. It’s a total scam, just awful folks behind it. With everything bad going on in the world, they’re out there trying to trick people who are easy targets. It’s really upsetting and pretty risky business.

Got a call from a woman who spoke in a really strong English accent, which was surprising. She claimed I’d done a survey mentioning issues with my circulation or back pain. I told her no, I hadn’t, and then she just dropped it.

During the Summer, I got a really annoying call from someone asking how old I was. I fibbed and said I was in my 60s since I’m actually in my 20s. Turns out, they must have passed on my details - name, number, and that false age - to this company that’s now ringing me up constantly, asking if I have arthritis or any health problems. They’re pushing hospital beds and reclining chairs, probably targeting elderly folks to make a quick buck. It’s such a scam. Proper dodgy behaviour, trying to squeeze money out of old people by confusing them. Absolute muppets.

I received a call earlier today, the 8th of November, 2022, from a lady who had a noticeable southern accent. She inquired whether I was Mrs M. Taggart. After I kindly clarified that my name is actually Ms C. Taggart, she abruptly ended the call. Quite baffling, really!

I keep getting calls from them saying I supposedly completed a form, but it never asked anything personal like my health, which I wouldn’t share anyway since it’s none of their business. They ring me every single day claiming they can help, but it’s all just nonsense. Plus, the woman on the phone is really impolite.
