Had a call once from someone pretending to be from Microsoft, saying they found some cyber security issues on my router and that they’d cut off my internet unless I let them fix it. They wanted me to switch on my computer and download some programme they’d guide me through. Honestly, don’t fall for it - it’s a total scam! If you get messages like that pretending to be BT or TalkTalk too, just hang up straight away.
