Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT Openreach’s tech support, which was weird since I don’t even use their services anymore. The number showed a local area code, probably why it managed to get past my PBX’s inbound filters instead of going straight to voicemail. There was that typical pause before they answered, and you could hear the loud background noise of an Indian call centre along with their accent.
