It prompted me to hit 1 if I wanted to stop the transactions or 2 to chat with an agent. Foolishly, I pressed 1, only to find myself speaking to an operator who demanded my name and other details - which I refused to provide. They were quite evasive in answering my queries, and the moment I mentioned I would be reaching out to my bank, they abruptly hung up.
