A bloke called claiming he was with British Gas about boiler cover. I asked for his phone number to check it was really them, but he just ended the call straight away. Totally a scam, no doubt about it.

Some bloke rang claiming to be from British Gas, even gave me a number to ring back to avoid any charges. I told him he was full of it since I already have a contract with BG that includes call outs. Total scam, stay clear!

Over the last few days I've had four calls from this number but mostly I just missed them. When I finally picked up the last time, they asked for Mrs... and then just dropped the call when I said that wasn’t me. Proper irritating.

I received a call from someone claiming to be conducting a phone survey. I politely informed them that I had no interest in participating and requested that they refrain from calling me again.

They mentioned it was some sort of survey linked to South East Asia, but strangely couldn’t explain why my number showed up in Scotland. They claimed they wouldn’t ask anything personal, yet they ended up doing exactly that. Quite dodgy if you ask me.
