8 yearsGot a call around 10:10 in the morning on June 11, 2018. The guy had a really heavy Indo-Asian accent and was going on about some cheque. Sounds like classic scam stuff trying to get my bank info. Total nonsense.8 yearsThis number keeps ringing my home phone, but whenever I answer, the line just cuts off. I did a 1471 check and it turned out to be the same number that called my mobile earlier saying I was eligible for a refund on some bank fees. They asked me to verify my bank info to send the cash over, but I told them I don’t have an account anymore since I went bankrupt, and that my solicitor is handling everything so they should talk to him. Then they just hung up on me!8 yearsI called back but got no reply, then the line just cut off.8 yearsI’m so over all these calls, they just waste time! I’ve blocked loads already. That takeaway response sounds like a good shout, might give it a go. By the way, I’ve got a whistle too!8 yearsThis number called me 4 times today. Each time, they either ended the call quickly or asked for my personal info. Really suspicious behaviour.8 yearsEvery single comment here seems like they’re just trying to fish for your bank details. It’s crazy how they manage to get away with this stuff!8 yearsThis time it was an Asian woman saying she was from Client Advisory Group. Whenever I attempted to get a word in, she just kept saying "Listen to me" and wouldn’t let me talk. She mentioned that her manager would ring me again, but I’m pretty sure that won’t happen!Client Advisory Group8 yearsHaha, this one cracked me up! Ringing me up for someone who moved out like 10 years ago. And get this, the guy’s been passed away for almost 5 years now. I didn’t mention that to the caller, just asked what they wanted. The person claimed they were from some government office and said we owed bank fees or something. When I told him that sounds great and to go ahead and post a cheque, he ended the call sharpish. Brilliant!8 yearsToday I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from some Claims Advisory Service. She told me my bank supposedly owed me money and wanted to put it back into my account. Then she started asking for my personal details. I told her to send me a letter explaining everything properly. She ended the call straight away. I tried calling her number back but of course it didn’t exist. Totally looks like a scam to me. I wish phone companies would actually do something and track these fraudsters down so they get punished.Claims Advisory Service8 yearsGot a couple of calls over two days, only caught some foreign language before they just dropped the call.8 yearsI got a call from 01292500384 but didn’t pick up. I answered like I was from a takeaway place and asked what she wanted to order. She just hung up straight away. I’m gonna try this trick more often and see if it makes them stop ringing me.8 yearsGot a call from 01292500384, they already knew my full name, address and post code. They were saying the bank had some money for me but when I asked questions, they just hung up on me. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.8 yearsGot a call from some bloke with an Indian accent who was asking for me by name and even knew where I live. He claimed I was due some money from my bank and needed to confirm my identity. Then he asked for my date of birth, which made me suspicious since he already had my name and address. I questioned why he needed that, and the call just got cut off straight away. It's so frustrating - why can’t the phone companies just block these numbers when it’s obvious they’re scams?8 yearsThis number has called me several times. The woman who answered didn't have great English and kept trying to find out if it was me by asking my name. Then she wanted my date of birth, but I said no and she just ended the call.
