I received a recorded message that claimed to be from HMRC, stating I was being investigated for tax evasion. It urged me to press 1 to speak with a case officer. They seemed to threaten legal action if I didn’t follow their instructions. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Got several calls from some dodgy number, with this robot American voice claiming to be HMRC, threatening me with criminal charges if I don’t sort something out. Honestly, do these lot really believe anyone falls for that rubbish?! Total scam!
