If you get calls like these, you should text 7726 to report them, as the police’s Action Fraud site suggests. There’s a really good TV show about these banking scams - can’t mention the name here because of a filter on this site - but it’s on BBC iPlayer. It features some ethical hackers who actually hack into the scammers’ systems to catch them while they're still trying to con people. It’s not an easy job since these scammers use very advanced tech and are pretty clever. Honestly, everyone with a phone or bank account should watch it!

Yet another automated woman claiming there’s some charge on my account. How do they even figure out who I am or if I have an account in the first place? Hilarious. This scam is so exhausting. Just a heads up, your bank won’t be calling like this - they already have your details sorted. Best to just brush off these ridiculous scammers.
