today our landline got ringed four times by this number, each call pretending to be talktalk. it’s a recorded message saying our internet and phone service will be cut off. they always mention a certain time when this will happen. really suspicious stuff.

Got a recorded call pretending to be from HMRC, saying there was an arrest warrant out for me. I didn’t bother staying on the line, just ended the call and blocked them straight away. HMRC never calls folks like this, it’s definitely a scam. Best thing is not to answer or reply. You can also report these dodgy calls on the real HMRC site at hmrc.gov.uk.
