Like a few folks mentioned before, I got a call from what looked like a local number, so I picked up. Turns out they were just a call centre somewhere far off, not a bloke down the road as you might think. They were an insurance broker, and while the quote they gave seemed fair enough, I’m gonna look around a bit more and check with other brokers before deciding.

This company, Reassured, is exactly as others have said. I had life insurance with someone else before, but with prices going up and my payday switching, I ended up missing a couple of payments. I figured I'd pause on getting new insurance, but these lot kept hassling me non-stop until I gave in and signed up again. After answering loads of questions for a supposed deal of £4-5 a month, they hit me with an £8 monthly charge instead. For some reason, I said yes, but then I cancelled the direct debit because I didn't actually want the cover. Now they're constantly texting, emailing, and calling me even though I’ve told them repeatedly I want out. Just steer clear of these guys and block them. Plenty better insurers around.
