Somebody rang me saying they were from BT Security, telling me my account had been hacked and the router was compromised. They talked me through giving them control of my phone and laptop. Then, out of nowhere, they said BT owed me £200 as compensation and that it’d already been paid into my bank. After that, they wanted me to log in to my bank online just to 'check the transfer' had gone through!
