Phone number ☎️ 01291672323 👆 is reported as a persistent scam call from a poor-quality line featuring callers with strong or broken accents pretending to be from Amazon. They claim suspicious purchases, often an iPhone, on the victim’s account and attempt to trick recipients into sharing one-time passcodes received via text. Many users recognise it as fraudulent and advise against engaging or sharing any codes. The callers pressure for personal information but often hang up abruptly when questioned. Background noise suggests a call centre setup, and the number does not correspond to advertised locations. Recipients consistently recommend blocking the number and warn others to remain cautious as the scam is quite convincing but ultimately designed to steal personal data.

4 yearsSome bloke with a thick accent called, the line was awful and there was loads of noise in the background. He claimed someone had charged £790 on my Amazon account and asked if it was me or if I’d given my details to anyone, even family. I told him the purchase wasn’t mine, then he started going on about giving me a blocking code. I just ended the call. Moments later, a text arrived with this so-called code, which I deleted straight away. I then looked up the number and found this site.Amazon4 yearssomeone called saying they were from amazon saying an iphone was bought on my account and wanted to check if i made the order. they said they'd send me a code to my phone to prove they were legit and stop the payment. they asked me to read the code back to them but the message with the code said not to share it with anyone, so i just ended the call.AmazonApple4 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be with Amazon, telling me someone tried to buy an iPhone using my account. They said they needed to check if I ordered it and sent me an OTP on my phone to prove it was them and to cancel the purchase. Then they asked me to read the code back to them. But the code had a note saying not to share it with anyone, so I just ended the call.Amazon4 yearsGot a call from a guy with really bad English claiming to be from Amazon. I told him I have no idea what Amazon is. Then he asked if someone in my family has an Amazon account. I repeated I don’t know Amazon at all, and then he just hung up. Blocked the number straight away!Amazon4 yearsI received a dodgy phone call claiming to be from Amazon, informing me of some suspicious activity on my account.Amazon4 yearsGot a call from a woman claiming someone had used my Amazon account to buy an iPhone without permission. Soon after, a text came through from ‘Amazon’ with a one-time code, which she asked me to share over the phone. It felt fishy, so I ended the call. She was pretty persistent, trying to persuade me that giving the code would cancel the suspicious order. Honestly, it seemed dodgy from the start, but I can see how someone might fall for it, especially since they make it seem legit by sending you that passcode via text.Amazon4 yearsThey said they was from Amazon but it weren’t true at all. Felt off right from the start, so I hung up quick. Definitely dodgy.Amazon4 yearsJust got a dodgy call claiming it was about Amazon Prime, which I ain’t signed up for. They wanted my details - total scam, so watch out and don’t fall for it!Amazon4 yearsNo one actually rang me back or anything. Pretty pointless call if you ask me.4 yearsAbsolute idiots ringing me up for no reason at all. I have no clue what they’re on about when they call. Just a bunch of spam callers!4 yearsGot a ring from this number not long ago. There was loads of chatter in the back, so I reckon it’s one of those call centres. The lady on the end didn’t sound like she was too good with English. She didn’t even ask who she was chatting to, just blurted out something about working for Amazon. When I asked her what it was about, all she said was “Croydon”. Weird since this number’s definitely from Wales. Asked again and then she just cut me off. Honestly, don’t these people have better stuff to be doing? Blocked her straight away.AmazonCroydonWalesSubmit Your Own Report (01291 672323)
