Had a robo-call today from a woman with an American accent chatting about my Amazon Prime account, which I actually don’t have, even though I shop on Amazon now and then. Her voice reminded me a bit of those Visa scam calls about lost money, or those dodgy HMRC ones threatening arrest warrants because of supposedly compromised internet stuff. I didn’t dare press any buttons, but I did catch the number on 1471 and tried calling it back - unsurprisingly, the number didn’t go through at all.
