7 yearsOn 18/06/19, this number rang my mum pretending to be from Sky and claiming she was owed a £202 refund. My mum doesn’t even have Sky, so we knew straight away it was dodgy. I ended up taking the phone off her because the caller had my mum’s name, address, and phone number. I fed them fake info like a made-up DOB and said my bank was the Bank of India. Then they tried to put me through to a 'supervisor', but after I asked repeatedly where they were calling from, they just hung up. They were quite pushy, not gonna lie!SkyBank of India7 yearsThese lot were proper dodgy, and honestly, they sounded a bit desperate. They kept going on about some 'sky refund' or whatever. I don’t even have Sky, but I figured I’d mess with them for a while and maybe stop them ripping someone else off. After a bit, I’d had enough and told them exactly what I thought - said they were naughty scammers and that karma would come back at them hard. Bet they didn’t like hearing that!Sky7 yearsThat had all the hallmarks of a scam call.7 yearsBeware of these con artists! Never share your personal info with them. I’d suggest getting a BT8600 or BT8610 phone because they come with a call guardian feature built in. As soon as you activate it, most scam calls vanish.
