Id say I had a similar thing happen, I just told the guy I wasnt gonna touch anything on my laptop and if there was any issues id call bt myself. Then I ended the call straight away.

Got a call from someone who sounded Indian, claiming to be from BT. They kept mentioning some warning alerts showing up on my PC. They asked how many gadgets were linked to my internet, seemed like they wanted me to do some stuff on my computer to stop those warnings. I played along for a bit but eventually just left the phone alone until they stopped calling.
