Got a call from some foreign call centre. Thought it was one of those usual annoying calls saying my internet would be cut off soon. I didn’t hang about and told them to just go ahead and disconnect it. Didn’t take them long to slam the phone down.
On the flip side... maybe it was about that made-up car crash story going around...
Absolutely fed up with these pesky calls, even though I use blockers and report every nuisance.
Was really dreaming of a quiet retirement, but seems that’s not happening! Still, there’s a bright side - my swear jar from all this fuss is slowly piling up enough for a holiday trip.

I picked up and the call just dropped straight away. Sounds like one of those tricks to see if your number’s active before they pass it along or sell it.
