Got a call from 01291370593, which is supposed to be Chepstow, Wales, but the voice was definitely Indian and the message said my Amazon Prime had expired and I needed to speak to someone to renew it. Thing is, I’ve never had an Amazon Prime account. I hit 1 to try and remove my number from their list, but the caller kept insisting I have an account and that my renewal payment didn’t go through. I told them again I don’t shop on Amazon, but they read out some order details. I said it wasn’t mine and asked for a supervisor, but the call just ended suddenly. Obviously a scam.
