Just got a call tonight from someone saying my tv was acting up and that I needed to get insurance on it, sounded like a total scam to me. Watch out and don’t fall for it, best just to hang up straight away.

Got a call from an unknown number that didn’t say anything, but then a different one rang saying my TV and washing machine insurance was ending soon - total scam! Lately, I’ve been getting annoying calls about my internet or phone number being hacked, telling me to press a button or something. Don’t do it! If you get a call like this, just hang up straight away and don’t press any buttons. It’s all rubbish.

I got a call from 01291017223, and the person that called said my name and asked if I was the person they mentioned. When I asked who it was, they just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from a Chepstow number, and they wanted to know who the line belonged to. I asked them who they were, but instead of answering, they tried to get me to confirm my name and postcode. When I said I wasn’t sure what they meant, they started speaking in what they said was Turkish. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
