Twice now I’ve picked up calls claiming to be from Amazon, each time from a different number. I reckon there’s been plenty I’ve ignored too. It’s clearly a scam, so don’t be tempted to press 1 like they say. These scammers are a right nuisance and I really wish there was a way to shut them down. They’re just making life difficult for everyone.

I got a call with this robotic voice saying my credit card would be charged soon for renewing Amazon Prime. It told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel. Pretty sure it’s a scam since no one here has Prime. Obviously, I didn’t press anything and just ended the call straight away.
