Some bloke kept ringing me, asking the same questions over and over. Thought maybe he’s obsessed with Audi or I got it all wrong. Instead of answering, I flipped the script on him and asked him the same stuff. Then I acted like I couldn’t hear a thing, kept going “HELLO?” even though I could clearly hear him shouting in this really dodgy voice, “HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR ME?!” Was just having a laugh. Messed about with him all evening, then he called back the same day to say sorry. Oddly, he rang again today, so I decided to look up his number online and turns out this guy’s got a proper dodgy history!

Over the past few days, we've been dealing with someone connected to an Audi listed on eBay, and after growing suspicious, I decided to look up their number online. What I discovered was truly disturbing. This disgusting individual seems obsessed with the fact we have a child seat that can be fastened and adjusted. They kept asking repeatedly why we’d taken the seat out - just because it gets swapped between two cars - but kept insisting on whether it’d be put back and demanded photos. Honestly, this person should be reported. We’ve blocked the number now, but if you see this before you do, and want the police involved, I’d recommend following the guidance from Police Scotland, which I’ve added below since I genuinely believe the authorities need to deal with this awful person… First, you should report the calls to your phone provider, whether it’s a landline or mobile. They might put a trace on the line and advise you to note down the calls - times, types, whether they were silent or had heavy breathing - to gather evidence. The police require these details to act. Once the phone company has enough information, they’ll get back to you. Then you notify the police about the anonymous calls, who will start an investigation. The police will try to find the offender and, if possible, prosecute them. Keep in mind this can take a while, sometimes a few weeks before they contact you back about your case.

Like loads of others, I got a call asking if the front passenger seat could fit a baby seat and whether it adjusts properly. Bit of a strange bloke, to be honest.

Blimey, had this absolute weirdo ring me about my car for sale, asking all sorts - like about the car seats and how loud the radio gets. Honestly, I thought one of my mates was pulling a prank on me. He definitely sounds a bit off his rocker, if you ask me.

So this guy just called me asking for pictures of me, sitting on the passenger side with the seat pushed forward on a bike, which honestly, looks a bit daft. I can't believe I actually sent them lol.

Haha, so this guy rings me up about my car yesterday, asking the same stuff like all you lot said. I joked that I’d throw in a baby seat both front and back... plus the missus as a freebie! From the minute he started, I could tell he was a bit bonkers! Proper laugh that was!

I had the same sort of questions as everyone else, this bloke seems completely off his rocker and probably should be locked up. Feels like a creep to me, someone should definitely report him.

This number has rung me four times within like three minutes, all missed calls. Didn’t pick up any of them since it’s from a landline and I usually avoid those. Has anyone else come across this caller before?

I kept getting calls all day yesterday from someone interested in an Audi I was selling. He was asking loads of questions about how the seat height adjusts and if you can put a baby seat in the front. Then he weirdly asked me to send a pic of a kid in a baby seat in the front seat. I told him he was dodgy and since then, no more calls. So, if he rings you, just a heads up!

Was trying to sell my car and this bloke was well weird, kept grilling me about the passenger seat. Like, if it can move up and down or side to side. Then he asked if a baby car seat would fit and what I'd do if my mates pushed the seat back when I wasn’t lookin. Honestly, he’s a bit mental.

Got a call today, sounded like someone asking how to adjust the front passenger seat. Not sure if they really needed help or just some sort of scam. Felt a bit dodgy to be honest.

Really weird bloke, quite unsettling! He’s rung me a few times now so I’ve blocked the number. When I dialled him back, he just shouted "leave it, just leave" down the line. Sometimes it goes straight to voicemail and this afternoon I found a really strange message where he was whispering "don’t call this number back...". I’m pretty sure he grabbed my number off eBay, since I’m selling my son’s van. I reckon he’s ringing loads of people. Honestly, someone should report him, he clearly needs some help.

I’ve just had the oddest chat with a chap regarding the motor I’m trying to sell. He posed a series of absolutely off-the-wall and bewildering questions that had me scratching my head. In the end, I had to admit I was at a bit of a loss to assist him!

Got a call from someone acting totally strange! It was really odd and unsettling, kept asking me the same things mentioned in the other comments. I’ve been in the motor trade for over 24 years and never come across anything like this before. Seriously think this needs looking into.

blimey, this bloke's nuts! Just had the exact same call, hahaha, asking about pictures and all that. Been selling cars for 14 years and never had this kinda thing happen before. proper loon!

Hey, I've tried ringing him on that 'ring 4 bells' number but it just goes straight to voicemail. No one's picking up at all. Anyone else having this issue?

This number kept ringing me with some weird questions so I decided to look it up and found this site. Every post here just made so much sense! I've spent the whole day calling back and messing about with them. Sounds like a loony stuck in some care home, poor sod.

This seems really off, honestly. Feels a bit dodgy and definitely should be flagged. Strange vibes coming from it.

Alright folks, just so you know, I work in car sales. Today I had a really weird experience with the exact same situation. Some bloke called me about three times throughout the day. The guy, Darren, came across as really off and unsettling, fixated only on the front passenger seat of my Audi I’m trying to sell. He kept asking if it could fit a child seat, how close it moves forward, and how high it adjusts. This has me seriously worried, so I’m planning to notify the police because I think something dodgy might be going on.

I had the peculiar experience of someone posing some rather odd and unsettling inquiries regarding automobiles. There's no chance I'm engaging with this bizarre individual again!

This guy was pretty odd, kept repeating the same weird questions about car seats and stuff, like he was trying to sell cars on eBay or something. Seems like eBay doesn’t check their numbers at all because he kept ringing loads of people asking the exact same creepy stuff!

Just like everyone else here, same situation. Honestly, it's so annoying. Fml.

This bloke rang me twice today, once first thing in the morning, then again in the afternoon. Kept going on about the passenger seat and wanted a photo of someone sitting there. Honestly, it felt really unsettling and a bit dodgy. Anyone know if he's actually bothered to show up for a car viewing? Got my number from eBay since I’m selling my Audi. Proper creepy, that one.

Just had the same thing happen to me tonight, they kept asking the same strange questions and wanted a photo of me in the seat all the way back and reclined. Every time they said, "Can I ask you another question?" It felt really dodgy, honestly. After reading some of the other reviews, I’m seriously thinking about reporting this bloke to the cops if he keeps on like this. Proper weird experience.

Had some bloke ring me up asking about leaving the baby seat at the front and if I could get my missus to sit in the back till he shows up to check the car on Monday. When I cheekily asked if he makes his own wife sit at the back, he muttered "sometimes" in a proper weird tone. Made me feel a bit uneasy, honestly.

Today, they called again and asked the exact same questions. Bit odd if you ask me.

I’ve had something similar happen to me. Over the past few days, this person kept calling asking if I could send pics of myself in the car. When he called again this evening, I told him off and blocked the number.

Got a call from some bloke named Darren asking about a car I'm trying to sell. He kept going on with odd questions about the passenger seat, like really specific ones. Every time he asked something, he’d say, "can I ask you another question?" which felt pretty weird.

Got a call from some guy asking if the baby seat had ever been in the passenger seat and if it adjusts. Honestly, he seemed really strange, like the kind of bloke you wanna report or something. Proper odd behaviour!

Last June I was trying to sell a car when this bloke called asking odd questions about the passenger seat - like if it moved back and forth and whether a baby seat would fit. Bit weird, but I just shrugged it off. Then, out of nowhere, last night at 11:45pm my phone rings again from a 01290 number. I pick up, and wouldn't you know it, same annoying guy from last year, asking about a different car I had for sale. I hung up, but he kept ringing nonstop. Next morning, I called him back to tell him off for waking me, and what did he do? Repeated the exact same questions about the seat and baby seat. I started thinking this bloke was a proper nutter! At one point, he even wanted me to get someone to sit in the passenger seat and push it all the way forward. Got fed up, told him to bugger off and hung up. Then last night again at 11:45pm, phone rings but I ignored it ‘cause I was in bed. He even called again at 7am this morning. Honestly, I reckon this guy has some serious issues - maybe some mental health problem - and just enjoys harassing people from his home phone. Proper oddball.
