Got a call from a Mauchline number, so I picked up thinking it might be important. It turned out to be a recorded message claiming to be from my bank, but didn’t say which one. The message warned about two payments leaving my account - one of about £300 for Amazon and another over £1000 going somewhere I’ve never heard of. I’m pretty sure it was a scam, so I didn’t press any buttons; just ended the call straight away. I seriously doubt it was actually from a local line though.
