I got a call today supposedly from “British Telecom” saying my internet was going to be cut off soon. They told me to press 1 if I wanted to sort it out. I didn’t bother pressing anything, figured if BT really needed to contact me, it’d be in a more normal way, not some robot with an American accent! Seemed fishy to me, like a scam attempt. I checked this site afterwards and was surprised no one had mentioned anything about it before.
