I got a call from a recorded message saying my TalkTalk internet service was on the brink of being disconnected. It asked me to press 1 to speak with an advisor or 2 if I wanted to cancel my service. When I pressed 1, a woman with a West African accent told me my computer had a malware infection. I said I didn’t quite catch that and then a man came on, telling me to log into my router via my laptop. I lost interest quickly and just hung up.
