Got a call from this number earlier today, a recorded message with a clear Asian female voice saying I had a warrant out from HMRC (I’m a pensioner and don’t even pay tax) and to press 2 to speak to a case officer. When I did, a polite-sounding Asian woman asked for my name, address and National Insurance number. I gave my name and address but refused to give NI number, then she shouted “f##k you b###h” and hung up straight away. I then twigged it was some kind of scam and tried calling back but the number wasn’t recognised.
