I received a series of three calls from a scammer masquerading as someone from BT Openreach. They were claiming that my broadband was malfunctioning and that my IP address had been compromised. Quite alarming, honestly!

got a call from someone acting like they're from BT Openreach, but it's definitely just a spammer.

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach but it was obviously a scam. I kept them on the line for about 10 minutes while they tried to get me to open an AnyDesk app. Eventually, I got tired and told them my internet was down. The number they called from was 2895811629, which looked dodgy. When I asked about it, they just added a zero in the wrong place. I've blocked the number now so they can’t bother me again.
