I received a call out of the blue from someone with a foreign accent! They were touting a supposedly better deal on electricity and pushing me to change my energy supplier. I seriously doubt this chap was representing a bona fide British firm; he came across as rather shoddy!

Somebody calling claiming to be from O2 gave me a ring, but as soon as I said I’d already closed my account, they just hung up.

Got a call from 01289530728, a guy with an Asian accent, trying to convince me to switch energy suppliers. I told him I produce my own electricity and don't use gas at all. Once I mentioned that, he just ended the call straight away. Seems odd since any legit UK energy firm probably wouldn't hire someone whose first language isn't English.

Got a call asking for the business owner, seemed like spam to me. Pretty sure this number has called our office before, and usually when we answer, there’s just dead silence.

Got a recorded call from 01212 840668 saying it was from UK Talks. Seems like their number keeps changing a lot, which honestly feels a bit dodgy and like it could be a scam. Not sure what to make of it as the switch up in numbers isn’t reassuring at all.
