Got a call earlier today from 01289318371, some annoying automated voice saying I owed £79.99 for a subscription. They said I could talk to a manager to sort a refund, sounded proper dodgy. I almost fell for it but thankfully hung up before pressing any buttons. This number’s rung me loads of times already, so I’ve blocked it now. Honestly, these calls are so stressful and really take a toll on you. Stay clear of this one!

Received a call earlier where the caller insisted I’d lost cash on some trading account. I told them straight it was a scam and ended the call.

I got a call from a bloke with a foreign accent claiming he's from some company called Pipsec[###]. He said I had some money waiting from a bitcoin firm and he was there to help me get it back. I told him I wasn't sure that was true, but he kept pushing. He already had my name and email, which was weird. They usually ring me in the morning, but today they tried four times in the afternoon and I ignored them since I didn’t know the number. Later, I checked it out here and turns out, it’s a dodgy number!

Had loads of calls from someone asking for Patricia. Told them they’ve got the wrong number and asked several times to take me off their list. She just hung up on me but the calls kept coming anyway. In the end, I just blocked the number.

Today at about 3.44pm, I got a call from a woman abroad claiming I had lost cash in some binary market thing. I told her I wasn’t interested and ended the call straight away. Just a heads up, watch out, they’re only after your money!

I got a call from some debt collectors claiming I had opened a trading account a few years back. They asked if I was on an IVA and promised I could get £2800 back into my bank. Then they started saying they needed to take my phone and would supposedly return it. Sounds dodgy to me and really sketchy - they’re just exploiting people who are struggling. Someone should really put a stop to this.

This number keeps ringing me at different times all the time. I've blocked it now. Once I picked up, the person on the phone kept saying I put money into some offshore investment. The accent was thick, making it hard to catch what they said. They were really pushy. Don't share any of your details with them.

Got a call from someone claiming they could help me get back some lost cash, said they’re with a recovery fund company or something. They asked if I had a laptop so they could sort things out right away. I didn’t really know how they got hold of my number. When I tried to ring them back for more info, the line just went dead. Then not long after, I got another call from a strange number. I suspected straight away it was a scam, so I looked it up and sure enough, it showed up as suspicious. We really need to put a stop to these types of calls.

Today at around 2:30pm, I got a call from this number. The person claimed to be representing the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) and had a strong European accent. Oddly, he already knew my name and email and mentioned I’d supposedly lost some money through an investment a couple of years back. Honestly, I could barely catch what he was saying, but it sounded fishy so I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Watch out, everyone! Mike from Surrey.

Got loads of calls from this number, it rings, someone picks up but then dead air, no one talks. Sometimes they use my first name, which I always say not to do. The voice has a heavy accent, defo not from around here. Feels like this and a bunch of others are all part of the same call centre’s list. I keep asking them to take me off their records but they keep ringing back on this exact number. Proper annoying!

some bloke with a really thick accent called me saying he was from the office of fair trading and that i’d been caught up in one of those online scams and lost money. when i told him to delete my info from their system, he just ended the call straight away.

I just received a call from someone with quite a strong African accent, introducing himself as "Adam Smith." He was trying to convince me that he could secure a refund on my investments in the financial markets. What a dodgy character!
