On the 18th of September 2020, just before 7pm, I got a call from 01289068451. It rang a couple of times and when I picked up and said "hello," the person on the other end just cut off straight away. Not really sure if it was some kind of scam or maybe they were just seeing if the number was active so they could hit it with spam calls later. Pretty frustrating either way.

I received a call from 01289068451 at precisely 18:59 on the evening of September 18th, 2020. The phone rang a couple of times - maybe two or three - but as soon as I picked up and greeted the caller with a ‘hello’, they abruptly disconnected. It’s baffling really; I can’t tell whether this was some sort of dodgy phishing attempt or just an irritating tactic to confirm that my number is active, allowing relentless cold callers to hound unsuspecting people unlawfully.
