Got a call today around 1:16pm from a recorded message pretending to be from BT’s tech support. They said my broadband would be disconnected later in the day. Total nonsense and just another version of a classic scam, but this time they used a robotic voice instead of a real person - probably trying to get around new laws against cold calling. The call came from an 01xxx landline number based in Bude, which was likely used to trick people into thinking it was genuine. Don’t fall for it and definitely don’t ring that dodgy number back!
