Got a call from some supposed ‘online support’ lady, sounded like one of those Indian call centre scams. When I asked her which company she was with, she just couldn’t say. Said my computer was full of viruses, but I don't even use the kind of software she was talking about. Lately, I’ve been getting a handful of calls every day from different numbers all sharing the same area code - definitely dodgy.

i got a recorded message saying it was from bt tech support. they told me my internet would get cut off today and i had to press 1 if i wanted help or press 2 to cancel the service. i just ended the call straight away.
