Got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming to be from Talktalk's tech support. She told me my router had been compromised and that’s why my internet was slow. Didn’t really buy it though, so I just ended the call. Sounds like the same old scam probably connected to that previous Talktalk data leak thing.

At first, no one replied when I picked up, then a man with an Asian accent said he was “Kevin” from BT and mentioned something about my internet. Oddly, he greeted me with “Good morning, how are you” at 12:59 in the afternoon. I asked what he wanted regarding my internet service, and then he suddenly told me to F##k off. Shocked, I asked him to repeat himself, and he did just that. Clearly, he wasn’t interested in any polite chat! Totally a dodgy call since I'm not even a BT customer.
