Got a call from a woman speaking with a US accent claiming to be from BT. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this kind of recorded message, always saying my internet service would be cut off in 24 or 48 hours and to press 1 or 2 to stop it. I just ended the call straight away. The number showed from Bude, Cornwall, but I reckon these can be spoofed or bought by scammers. It’s really frustrating getting pulled into these lies on the phone. Even though it’s obviously a scam, it still feels a bit unsettling.
