Got one of those automated calls from TalkTalk saying my internet service would be cut off soon or something like that. Pretty annoying as usual.

Got a call the other day from someone claiming to be from Talk-Talk. It kicked off with a recorded message warning that my broadband would stop working later that same day, and that I’d lose all internet access. Then they asked me to stay on the line for ‘Talk-Talk IT support’. After that, they tried to get me to share details from my computer so they could log in remotely. If they’d succeeded, they’d have been able to swipe all my files, bank info, and even steal my identity. Proper dodgy scam, watch out!

Apparently my internet and BT phone line were about to get cut off, that’s what the caller said.

I got a call saying my talk talk broadband would get cut off, then they told me to press 1 or 2, but i just hung up and ignored it.
