Got a call from BT today, some recorded voice telling me my service was at risk and I had to press some digits to avoid being cut off. It felt dodgy, especially since I’ve had two calls like this in less than half an hour. Rang BT to check and was told it’s a scam, so blocked the number straight away. Avoid answering if you get the same!

i got a voicemail from someone claiming to be my internet company warning me about a service cutoff. they asked me to press some numbers on my phone to talk to them. i just hung up straight away.
