Got a call from 01284000858, sounded like an American bloke saying £600 was taken from my visa. I just hung up straight away. Pretty clear it's a scam.

Got a call from some automated voice claiming it was Western Union, saying a payment of £600 had gone through on my card. It told me to press 1 to approve it. Needless to say, I didn’t and just ended the call. When I looked up the number, the call actually came from Bude here in England. Still, feels pretty unsettling.

I received a call from a robotic American voice claiming to be from "Western Union," informing me that a charge of £600 had been put through on my card. They instructed me to "Press 1" to confirm the transaction, but I promptly ended the call. It's quite unsettling, to be honest.
