I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, warning me that the police would come after me if I didn’t settle some “unpaid taxes” right away. I just told them to shove it and ended the call straightaway!

Got a recorded call from a well-spoken bloke claiming he was from HMRE. He said there was an arrest warrant out for whoever picked up the phone. Bit scary and obviously sounded dodgy.

Got a call from some scammer pretending to be from hmre, saying I’m gonna be arrested for tax evasion. Then they tried to scare me into paying them to stop it. Totally a scam.

Got this automated call saying they were from HMRC, claiming there’s a warrant for my arrest over some unpaid taxes. Never heard that one before! These scammers just keep at it, no surprises there.
