This isn’t the first time I’ve had calls like this - they've been coming from different numbers all week. I didn’t bother listening and just ended the call. Total SCAM, if you ask me.

Some bloke called pretending to be Sam, saying I was owed money back on some appliance insurance I supposedly had. I just mentioned, like I had someone else there, asking “can you track where this call is coming from?” Then I told him I was with the BBC’s fraud unit, looking into overseas con artists. He hung up straightaway after that.
