Received a ring from this number on my phone today. At first, nothing but silence, then a robot voice said goodbye before hanging up. Apparently, loads of different numbers are doing this now. BT apparently have all the info on the callers but don't bother acting because it turns out to be a clever marketing trick for them. Since folks are fed up with these spam calls, they end up buying pricey gadgets to screen future calls. Guess who sells those gadgets? Yeah, BT - and they're not cheap, around £99!
