It was one of those recorded messages warning about possible dodgy activity on my bank account, mentioning a couple of transactions, one being from Amazon for about £300. Oddly, they never said which bank it was supposed to be from. Why would they leave that out? The number on the caller ID looked like it was from my area, so if it’s some kind of scam, they’ve gone to the trouble of faking a nearby number to trick people.
