I can't seem to escape their incessant calls!

I received a phone call from someone who said they were representing a charity and inquired if I could contribute a donation. I’m quite sceptical about the authenticity of such calls, so I graciously declined the request.

I got a call from a woman offering to sell me brand new clothes that were supposedly “marked” at a lower price. When I asked for the name of her business or any evidence that she really sells clothes, she just ended the call. Quite suspicious if you ask me.

My phone keeps getting calls from this number, but they hang up right before I pick up. Not that I was planning to answer anyway, but it’s really starting to get annoying and frustrating now.

So, this person rang saying they were from a charity asking if I wanted to give a donation. I told them I’m not interested and hung up. It’s not that I don’t want to help, but I’m just wary of doing it over the phone or online - too many scams about these days. I prefer giving to local causes instead.

I find these calls so frustrating. I don’t pick up on any number I don’t recognise since they never bother to leave a message. This has been going on for a couple of months, and even though I’ve blocked some numbers, new ones keep popping up.

They ring me around noon daily, but no one says a word and then they just hang up. It’s super irritating and honestly just a pain. Someone really needs to put an end to this.

The call came through and the person asked if I was still living at my old postcode. She said she wasn’t trying to sell anything or push a product. Then she wanted to know which age group I fell into. I gave her an answer but when she kept asking more questions, I said I was busy and ended the call.
