I got a call where they asked me how old I was and what kind of washing machine I had, even how old it was, then just hung up on me. The weird thing is, they already knew my name, my address, and even my postcode.

Got a couple of calls today from people saying they were from BT, asking to speak to the person who owns the computer. The first call came from a withheld number, then the second one came through, but the lady only mentioned BT near the end, so seemed kinda off. Both had accents, one sounded Indian and the other more Chinese I think. Feels like a scam to me, so I just hung up and didn’t respond to any voicemail. I've now blocked that number just to be safe and thought I’d give others a heads up.
