I got a message that sounded like it was recorded, saying my TalkTalk services were going to be cut off. They gave me two phone numbers to ring back, but I just ended the call right there.

I got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk tech support saying my connection was about to be cut off today and to hit 1 to prevent it. Obviously, loads of these scams seem to be targeting TalkTalk users right now! Has TalkTalk said anything or done anything to stop this?

I got this recorded voice saying my account was about to be shut down and to press 1 to talk to someone. I knew it was dodgy, but I still pressed 1 anyways. Then some bloke came on the line trying to ask for my bank info. I played dumb and didn’t give anything away, then when I asked some questions the call just dropped. Pretty obvious scam if you ask me.
